Patios, walkways, and retaining walls built on proper base work—clean lines, solid drainage, and long-term durability.

Overview
Hardscaping should look effortless—but it only lasts if the base, grading, and drainage are done right. We install patios, paver walkways, steps, and retaining walls with a system-first approach: excavation to the correct depth, compacted base layers, edge restraint, and clean transitions to the home and landscape. The goal is a finished space that stays level, drains correctly, and holds up through freeze/thaw cycles.
We review the space, confirm what you’re building (patio, walkway, wall, steps), set elevations, and plan drainage so water moves away from the home and doesn’t pool where you use the space.
We lock in shape, pattern, and material selections (pavers/stone, coping, wall block), then define the full scope—excavation, base, edging, jointing sand, and any needed grading or drainage tie-ins.
We excavate to proper depth, install and compact base layers, and set grades for drainage. This is where longevity is won—tight compaction and clean elevation control.
We set pavers/stone, cut and fit edges, install edge restraint, build steps/walls as scoped, and finish joints (polymeric sand where applicable). Transitions to thresholds, mulch, turf, and beds are kept clean and intentional.
We clean the site, confirm lines and levels, review drainage performance, and walk the finished work with you. You’ll get care notes for the first few weeks (settling, joint sand, sealing if applicable).
